Transfers: Mbwana Samantha Joins French Ligue 1 Side .
Taifa Stars captain Mbwana Samantha has completed his move to French Ligue One side Le Harve on a one year employment contract.

Samantha has become the first Tanzania player to sign with French Ligue 1 side which marks a significant milestone for Tanzania football.
Samantha previously featured for PAOK where he won the Super League title in the 2023-24 season.
Samantha has extensive experience playing in top leagues including Premier League with Aston Villa, Super Lig with Fenebanche and the Belgian Pro league with Genk and Antwerp.

At the National team Samantha has played over 80 matches scoring 22 goals .
In 2015 Samantha became the first Tanzanian to win the CAF African player of the Year Award.
He won the CAF Champions League with TP Mazembe in 2015 , finishing as the top with 7 goals .
The 32 year old forward earlier this week confirmed he will wear number 70 shirt for the “Sky & Navy” .
According to the Club website Samatta was brought in for experience, technical ability, lethal finishing and calm leadership.
“In Tanzania, there are two undisputed national treasures: Mountain Kilimanjaro and Ally Samatta .And while Le Harve are no strangers to scaling heights, this time they’ve opted to bring a Mountain of talent straight to Normandy,” read a statement on the club’s Website.
Le Harve Athletic Club is a French professional club based in Le Harve, Normandy . The club was founded in 1884 with rich history in French Football.
